Shreveport Terminal Runs out of ULSD amid Hike in Demand
CRANBURY, N.J. (DTN) --- A shipper's bulletin released minutes ago said the
Shreveport Terminal in Louisiana has run out of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel
because of an unexpected increase in demand.
"We currently forecast a resumption of lifting's apx 2000 hrs September
3rd," said the bulletin.
In related news, Enterprise Refined Products Co. previously said that the
truck rack at the Shreveport terminal would not be available for ethanol
offloading on Monday (9/6) because it will not be staffed due to the Labor Day
holiday.
Enterprise Products Partners acquired TEPPCO's midstream network in late
October 2009. The network is comprised of approximately 12,500 miles of
pipelines that gather and transport refined petroleum products, crude oil,
natural gas, liquefied petroleum gases, and natural gas liquids and includes
one of the largest common carrier pipelines for refined petroleum products and
LPGs in the U.S.
